I have written about my father already, now it's time for me to give credits to my mom.
My mother is such a loving, supportive and patient woman. She is a thoughtful mom as well. People have known her as a very kind-hearted person. Indeed! She really is. She's understanding and doesn't even get mad easily. I've learned how to become patient and understanding because of the examples she has set before us.
I am very blessed to have her as my mother. She never cease to show us her love. I could still remember the very first time she got really mad at me. Recalling that memory makes me guilty and yet it makes me laugh as well. Can you believe that I actually did let her chase after me? Yes, I really did! I was afraid that she's going to hit me, so I ran around the house as fast as I could. Unfortunately, she managed to catch up and I ended up being scolded. I have realized that we should never abuse the goodness shown to us by others.
I could even remember some instances when she covers up for me every time i did something. She helps us in asking permission from Papa, considering that Papa is really strict.
We have some things in common: COFFEE!!! Can't live without coffee. Wherever we go, we would always have 3-in-1 instant coffee in our bags. We both love PEACE. We just chose to remain silent to avoid further conflicts. FAITH. We are both firm believers. BE POSITIVE. We have the same positive outlook towards life. We consider problems as challenges and not additional burdens. These are among the things we have in common, or should I say, the things I learned and adopted from her.
Recently, I really appreciate what she's doing in preparation for my post-debut celebration. I am not expecting a lot, but it seems like she's really working on it. I wasn't able to contribute much, so far. All I did was gave her the list of guests. I am glad that she's putting so much effort for this event. I am truly grateful.
It is also good that we are able to have some time to talk about anything under the sun. I share a lot to her, even my love life. She knows my crushes, she could identify my suitors, and she even knows my type. I just feel comfortable sharing all these stuffs with her. She gives me pieces of advice, and she tells me how to handle things whenever it comes my way.
She would constantly remind me of how important it is to call on God every time. I owe a lot from my mom. She may have lapses sometimes but what matters is that she gives her best in everything she do. She is such a "mapag paraya" type of person. She sees to it that we have our cups full first before pouring something for herself.
I love you Mama!!! Thank you for everything!!!
:)
